About SEVA

SEVA is a first-responder-led collective. We offer education, peer support, and connections to qualified professionals and legal retreat programs for first responders and their families. SEVA is a limited liability company. It is not a nonprofit organization or a charity.

Not medical, mental health, or legal advice

Information on this site is for education only. It is not medical advice, mental health treatment, or legal advice, and it does not replace care from a licensed professional. SEVA does not diagnose or treat any condition. We make no promises about the results of any retreat, program, or practice. Talk with a qualified healthcare provider before making decisions about your health.

Not for emergencies

This website and our contact form are not monitored around the clock. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. In an emergency, call 911.

Legal care only

SEVA only shares information about, and connects people with, psychedelic care that is legal where it takes place. Laws on psychedelics differ by state and country, and they change. Nothing on this site encourages or helps anyone get illegal substances or services. You are responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply to you.

Directory and outside providers

The people listed in our Directory and the retreat programs we mention are independent. They are not employees or agents of SEVA unless we say otherwise. A listing is not an endorsement, a guarantee, or a referral for treatment. Please do your own research before working with any provider. Any services they offer are between you and them, under their own terms.

Retreats and the integration group

Retreats are arranged directly with SEVA and the retreat provider, under separate agreements. No retreat payments are taken on this website. Membership in SEVA’s integration group is verified directly by SEVA. We never ask you to upload ID or employment documents through this website. Integration group participants agree to the group’s own privacy agreements.

Gifts to support the work

  • Voluntary: Gifts to SEVA are voluntary support for our work.

  • Not tax-deductible: SEVA is an LLC, so gifts are not tax-deductible charitable contributions.

  • Nothing in exchange: A gift does not buy a service, a retreat spot, or any benefit.

  • How gifts are used: SEVA decides how to use gifts to support its mission.

  • Processing: Stripe processes gifts. By giving, you also agree to Stripe’s terms.

  • Recurring gifts: Recurring gifts continue on the schedule you choose until you cancel. To cancel, email [EMAIL]. Cancellation applies to future gifts.

  • Refunds: Gifts are generally non-refundable. If you made a mistake, such as the wrong amount or a duplicate gift, email [EMAIL] within [30] days and we’ll work with you to fix it.

Using the site

Please don’t:

  • Use the site for anything illegal

  • Try to disrupt, hack, or overload the site

  • Send spam or harmful content through our forms

  • Copy or reuse our content for commercial purposes without permission

Our content

The text, logo, design, and other content on this site belong to SEVA or the people who gave us permission to use them. You may share links to our pages and quote short passages with credit. For anything else, ask us first.

Links to other sites

We link to outside websites, including research and education resources. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

The site is provided “as is.” We work to keep information accurate and current, but we can’t guarantee it is always complete, correct, or available.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, SEVA is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages from your use of this site, or from services you get from any provider listed or linked on it.
